What this establishes
The viral ~$917K profit claim is confirmed — the fills tie to it almost exactly. The viral “23 of 24” win-rate claim is not: 21 of 24 markets close net-positive (87.5%), and no reading in this dataset reaches 23. The mechanism is a late-window timing strategy against a quote that did not reprice during the observed session, plus one complementary-pair arbitrage that occurred once — not the directional market-reading it was framed as.
What it does not establish
Manipulation — neither evidenced nor excluded; the decisive price moves are statistically indistinguishable from the market’s ordinary noise. Whether the pricing behavior still exists today — not tested; this report covers one historical session only. Copyability — not established.

The viral claim vs. the verified record

On July 24, 2026, a post from @DextersSolab put this wallet in front of a wide audience: a claimed ~$917k profit in about three hours trading Polymarket’s five-minute “BNB Up or Down” quick markets, on a claimed 23-for-24 record. We pulled the wallet’s complete on-chain activity and reconstructed every fill, redemption and merge. In this dataset, one of those two numbers holds almost exactly. The other does not.

Claim 1

“~$917k profit”

Net realized in this dataset is $917,311.53 (excluding rebates), or $921,178.80 once $3,867.27 in maker/taker rebates settled after the session are added in. “~$917k” matches the fills-only figure to within $311.53 — about as clean a reconciliation as a viral number gets.

Claim 2

“24 trades, won 23” (~96%)

Corrected

The fills show 21 of 24 markets closing net-positive — 87.5%, not 96%. We tried every more generous way we could construct to count it — crediting the arbitrage market as a clean win, folding in the smallest loss, counting only markets where the eventual winning side was ever bought — and the most charitable reading still tops out at 22 of 24. No reading in this dataset reaches 23.

Cash-flow reconstruction

In this dataset, the wallet placed 139 buy fills and zero sell fills across 24 of 39 consecutive five-minute “BNB Up or Down” quick markets, in a single 3.1-hour session (09:12–12:19 UTC, Jul 17 2026). That session is the wallet’s entire recorded trading history on Polymarket. It has not traded again since, for reasons this dataset does not tell us.

Net realized excluding the rebate leg is $917,311.53 — the figure that ties to Claim 1 above. The rebates are a separate, later settlement (Polymarket’s own reward/rebate schedule), not proceeds from any individual fill, which is why the ledger breaks them out as their own line rather than folding them into the 139 buys or 22 payout events.

Four mechanical findings

What the fills show is not one mechanism but at least four distinct ones, stacked in a single session.

A quote that did not reprice

Every fill in a given market, on a given side, printed at the identical price to four decimal places — regardless of size. A single ~$29k fill and the smaller fills around it in the same market all cleared at a flat $0.52; the only exception across all 139 fills is one non-round print at $0.789622964. Each market’s own quote-acceptance timestamp, in Polymarket’s own market metadata, predates that market’s window opening by 23.8 to 23.9 hours — in every one of the 24 markets. In this dataset, that is consistent with a quote set roughly a day ahead that the wallet’s own trading never moved.

A late-window timing signal

The median fill landed 104 seconds before its market closed, and 48.2% of all 139 fills had 90 seconds or less left on a 300-second clock. Among just that late-window group, 79.7% of the dollars bought the side BNB’s own spot price had already moved toward before the fill, versus 2.9% betting the other way — on moves that were tiny, a median of around 7 basis points. Fills placed before the window had even opened (30 of 139, up to 458 seconds early) were close to a coin flip — 50% by count, 36.7% by dollars — because there is no realized move yet to read at that point.

One clean arbitrage

In one of the 24 markets, the wallet bought both the Up and the Down side at $0.20 each — $0.40 for a complementary pair worth exactly $1.00 at settlement, regardless of which side wins — and merged the matched shares for a locked-in payout. Net result on that single market, after a small unmatched remainder on one side expired worthless: +$26,069.03. This is a structurally different mechanism from the other 23 markets: a complementary-token arbitrage, not a timing play, and it occurred once in this sample.

The Chainlink-vs-Binance twist

These markets resolve on a Chainlink BNB/USD data stream, not on Binance spot directly. In this dataset, 2 of the 24 windows resolved opposite to the direction Binance’s own spot price had actually moved — both on sub-1.3-basis-point moves, exactly where two price feeds can disagree at the tick. The wallet’s single largest loss, −$27,437.15, was one of them: the wallet bought Down, Binance’s spot price moved Down over that window, and the market resolved Up.

$40,894.05 of on-chain token cost across these same three markets expired worthless. $1,626.55 of that total is the losing side of the hedge market above, and because it was never formally redeemed, it does not appear anywhere in the wallet’s own open-position feed as a live balance — unlike the other two markets’ worthless cost, which does. Both figures are components of the one $40,894.05 total, not an addition on top of it.

Classification & replicability verdict

Not directional prediction — and not a strategy we are presenting to copy.

What the fills show is not market-reading in the sense the viral framing implied. It is two structurally different mechanisms stitched into one session: a late-window timing strategy against a quote that, during the observed session, did not reprice for the shrinking time left on the clock, plus one complementary-pair arbitrage that occurred once. Neither is a skillful call on where BNB was headed — the moves being “read” late in each window were a few basis points, statistically indistinguishable from the market’s own ordinary noise (Section 07).

Copyability is not established. We have not re-tested whether the pricing behavior behind the late-window timing strategy against a stale quote is still present today — this decode covers July 17, 2026, only, and does not re-query current market pricing. The wallet has not traded again since this session, for reasons this dataset does not tell us. We are not presenting any part of this as a strategy to follow.

What remains unverified

  • Manipulation: neither evidenced nor excluded. The decisive price moves behind the late-window fills had a median of roughly 5.13 basis points in this dataset; ordinary five-minute moves in the same span had a median of roughly 5.15 basis points — the two are statistically indistinguishable. We have no visibility into the wallet’s trading activity off Polymarket, so manipulation can be neither confirmed nor ruled out from this data; the size of the moves needed to explain the profits does not require it.
  • Whether the pricing quirk still exists: not tested. This report covers a single historical session and does not re-check current quick-market pricing behavior.
  • Why the wallet stopped after 3.1 hours: unknown. The wallet has not traded again as of this report’s publication.

Technical notes

Two open discrepancies between this page and the published ledger. Neither affects the dollar reconciliation, the 21-of-24 result, or the verdict.

Open discrepancy, added 2026-08-13 — the “only exception” sentence in Section 03 (U14). The first card in Section 03 says the single non-round print across all 139 fills is $0.789622964. Market 23 in the published ledger (8:10AM–8:15AM ET) carries one fill, $40,062.5631 of cost and 50,000 units redeemed, which implies $0.801251262 — also non-round. We are not substituting one figure for the other: at least four readings survive the published records, including a per-fill fee of about 1.47%, under which both figures are right, and units bought differing from units redeemed. The page does not say which market its print belongs to, so even attributing it to market 23 is an inference. Which claim fails, and how, is not determinable from what we have published. No published total moves either way. Full entry: search the open-discrepancy register for U14 (that file carries no internal anchors by design).

Open discrepancy, added 2026-08-13 — the Result column in Section 04 (U13). Section 04’s table and the machine-readable ledger it links publish the same 24 markets, and their characterisation fields disagree on four rows: 08, 12, 15 and 17. On two of them the JSON’s own field disagrees with the sign of its own net P&L — market 12 is labelled WIN beside −$1,606.64, market 15 is labelled OPEN(loss-so-far,$0) beside +$26,069.03. We are not offering an explanation for that here; the register records what was tested and what remains open. No dollar figure is in dispute: every cost, cash-out and net P&L column ties between the two artifacts, and the 21-of-24 result is unaffected. The file has no generator in our repository, so the only legitimate repair is re-deriving it from the raw fills — correcting the field in place, by hand, is the silent-fix class our own gates exist to prevent, so we will not do it. Until that is done, read the Result column in Section 04 and the result field there as two different statements. Full entry: search the open-discrepancy register for U13.

Methodology

The verification chain. Every dollar total and per-market column on this page passed the same four-step chain before publication. Two items disclosed in Technical notes remain open and are not covered by that statement: a single per-unit price we cannot attribute from the published record (Section 03), and a characterisation label (Section 04). Neither moves any total. The chain itself: a lifetime fetch of the wallet’s on-chain activity, held to a fetch-completeness gate before any analysis began; an independent decode plus a blind recompute — no prior draft, no notes in context — that reproduced every dollar figure to the cent directly from the raw fills, redemptions and merge; and two further adversarial verification passes, one financial and one mechanical, each recomputing every claim from raw data from scratch — including an independently re-pulled second source of Binance’s own 1-second BNB/USDT price history, used only to test the timing signal in Section 03, not to determine the market’s actual resolution (Section 03’s Chainlink note explains why those differ).
